We are a fast growing marketing/graphics company headquartered in Jackson, MS with a sales office in Dallas, TX and Baltimore, MD. We create effective branding and advertising concepts by providing unique, innovative and cost effective marketing that traditional advertising misses. We have a team of salespeople, coordinators, designers, production staff, and installation team that helps bring our clients ideas to fruition nationally.

We are looking for an experienced Print Production Manager with at least 5 years of print management experience running roll to roll printers, laminators and plotters. This person will manage production for our manufacturing and digital print department. This person must have experience with Adobe Products and RIP Software. The right candidate for this position is someone who will take ownership of the department’s production and thrive in a dynamic environment. Our company needs a leader who is committed to taking our existing production department to the next level by providing a positive work culture of change, evolution and continuous improvement. You will report to the VP of Operations who is committed to improving our Customer Service by improving our Print Production Process.

You would initially direct an 9 person production department to succeed in quality print services and good customer service by managing the production team and the daily workflow process.

This role initially consists of approximately 30% hands on print production and 70% production management including monitoring each work order and the production staff development. This is not a production graphics position managing graphic designers but it is a print production manager’s position. We are looking for the right person who can manage the output of our wide format printing production team.

This position has a career path to Operations or Executive position opportunities.

As mentioned above we are in the process of moving to our new 36,000 sf facility.

Salary: $75,000 /year to start

The successful candidate for this position will have these skills:

• 5 years of manufacturing production management. Experience in custom built products and/or engineering preferred.
• Ensure we have the best production team via training and or recruitment
• Experience with Large Format Digital Print
• Work in custom shop with continually changing jobs
• Execute scheduling for all jobs; manage rushes and readjust priorities as needed
• Inspect and deliver high quality of goods to be shipped to customer.
• Implement short-term and long-term goals for improvements in systems, staff performance, quality control, cost productivity, and capacity.
• Be a positive upbeat person able to motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Have high energy with a strong sense of ownership.
• Can consistently organize and maintain an orderly production area.
• Proven ability to implement work flow improvements.
• Orders stock and supplies as needed, coordinating and managing inventory to ensure minimum waste.
