Well established Sign Company seeking Metal Fabricator for our sign manufacturing facility in Richmond, Ca. Applicants should be able to read and work from architectural drawings, hand drawings and verbal instruction. Must be able to work to close tolerances (1/32") and have a critical eye for detail. Must also be able to problem solve, reason logically and work as a team with others. Machines most commonly used in our shop include: TIG Welder, MIG Welder, Band Saw, Chop Saw, Drill Press, Panel Saw, and Table Saw.
The most desired skills we seek include the following: Welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture sign products Know how to MIG weld (TIG welding a plus) Fabricating electrical sign cabinets and channel letters Good understanding of UL requirements Be able to read engineering and fabrication drawings Have outstanding craftsmanship and eye for detail Finishing skills using manual and power tools Good at problem solving Able to accept instructions/direction Team-oriented, able to work well with others - Drama-free Safety and Housekeeping Supply your own tools
